Luke Gill is the Founder and President of G2 Limited, an Aerospace Consulting Firm. Luke has over 42 years experience in all aspects of aerospace and defense, including military, airline, aircraft manufacturing and consulting.
During 25 years in the United States Air Force, Luke served as an aircraft maintenance and logistics officer, squadron commander, deputy commander for maintenance in a fighter wing, and director of maintenance at an Air Logistics Center.
After his military career, he transitioned to the airline industry, initially with Continental Airlines, and performed in a variety of executive maintenance roles at Northwest Airlines before becoming Southwest Airline’s Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering.
Recruited by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company to assist in the competition for the Joint Strike Fighter, Luke was initially the Vice President of Product Support and soon transitioned to the JSF program as the Vice President of Logistics and Sustainment. Following six years at Lockheed Martin he joined Thomas Group as Executive Vice President and in January 2007 founded G 2 Limited.
Luke has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters Degree in Business from Webster University. He is a member of numerous industry advisory boards and is a frequent speaker at aerospace forums.
The parents of four grown children, Luke and his wife Donna reside in Fort Worth, Texas.
